They're a wonderful assault on the senses, where hospitable tradition brushes up against contemporary Morocco, all accompanied by residents that are genuinely welcoming.
Morocco has lots of major population centres, but it's not always these bigger, more well-known cities that hold the 'most beautiful' crown. There are many smaller towns that exude a unique charisma and complement their corresponding landscapes seamlessly.
Every city listed here has its own kind of photogenic magnetism, whether you are looking for vast, epic landscapes, or tight, atmospheric alleyways. We spent six weeks driving the length and breadth of the country – documenting and photographing the cities we visited.
